I know I'm early, but I want you all to be ready on Saturday. John Wayne would have been 100 on Saturday, 26 May 2007.
So...swagger into your favorite watering hole. Take a shotgun with you into the shower. Ride a horse even if you're wounded. Kiss Maureen O'Hara. Slug Maureen O'Hara. Start a brawl on the very edge of a mudhole. Take a group of green kids on a cattle train against your better judgment. And for God's sake on Saturday, talk about America with complete and utter reverence.
Do it for the Duke.

Am I the only person in this world that hates John Wayne and any movie he ever made?

John Wayne was the mannest man that ever manned.
If John Wayne Bobbit hadn't gone and cocked up the name (see what I did there?) I might have named my son John Wayne.
Seriously though, John Wayne was one of the most honest actors to ever appear on screen. He had no ego. He had no presumption. He knew who he was on screen and never presumed to be any more than that. Sure wish Big Jake was around to kick some ass in Hollywood these days.

If it wasn't for John Wayne, I wouldn't have had a name for my fourth website.
