About three years ago I bought myself a birthday present off eBay: A commodore 64. I had one back in the day (my first computer was a Vic 20) and got to missing those old text adventures and writing BASIC programs and playing those Windham Classic adventure games. Yea, I know you can play those games online, but it's not the same.
I never hooked it up. Found it in the garage a few weeks ago and we realized a piece was missing. Found it on eBay and it arrived today. So we finally set this baby up.
The disk drive is shooting off errors, but I think that can be fixed. Meanwhile, I was able to play some cartridge games and have fun with the good old pokes and peeks.
