About me: I'm this guy from Oakland, California. I live with my wife of nearly 17 years, our eight-year-old son, a dog, a rabbit, an assemblage of vintage cars, broken typewriters, instruments, and enough furniture to furnish at least three houses. I have a completely useless undergraduate degree which I've used to land an adequate gig in the technology business. I've been doing tech stuff for about 15 years, all the while not intending to do it as a career. I write, sculpt, and very occasionally play music. I have an encyclopedic knowledge of absolutely useless trivia, and will happily spend hours talking about the intricacies of New Kingdom art, mummification techniques, or the Amarna heresy with anyone who's interested.
