If the story didn't call for a group of fictional vampires, then I probably would have went with Frankenberry or Boo Berry.
But "Count Choco" had the advantage of already existing on my hard drive (for a cameo in a too long under production cartoon)

Fortunatly, a comet never raced between the sun and the moon. Otherwise we'd all have to rely on Lightning Barbarian with his Solar Sword!

This has me thinking that an FU Thundarr homage is overdue. The only problem is that plunging the world into an age of superscience and sorcery in the year 1994 might change the continuity too much for other characters.
