Why, yes. That is the same place he was at yesterday. He is still there. In Des Moines. At a Motel 6. Standstill. Something about gas leaking into the engine. A couple of hundred dollars (and two new FTTW writers) later, his car is fixed and he'll be ready to hit the road again bright and early. So tonight, the turtle is kind of stuck in Iowa. Oh well.

With the real LNT on hiatus, I'm just going to throw something out here for you. Lists. Because I like making lists.

Most Underrated Movie Bad Guys

And that's about as far as I can take this, though if you suggest other movie lists, I'll give them a whirl.

Tomorrow: Video game lists. I know, I know. You can't wait for Turtle to get to NY and get settled so we can get back to regular LNT. Yea, me too. Me too.

I'm completely with you on Forrest Gump, but I'll fight you on Lost In Translation... Anything with a sad Bill Murray and a Kevin Shields soundtrack cannot be bad...

Oh and Big Trouble... Hells yeah...

I'm with you on Signs. I used to like both Castaway and Forrest Gump but don't really give a damn about them anymore.

Haven't seen Mulholland Drive and while I liked Ghost World, I'm not sure if I love it. Royal Tenenbaums and Lost In Translation, though--I do indeed absolutely love them.

Don't be ashamed to love Mean Girls. I'm right there with you. Armageddon? Hey, it was entertaining, even if it was ridiculous. No shame there.

My friend Scott, whom I have much respect for, absolutely loves Bring It On and claims it to be great satire. I need to see it.

Tremors! Arachnophobia! Classics.

I'm with you on most of the don't likes, except Tenembaums and Ghost World.

Another great post-apocalyptic movie: Hell Comes to Frogtown.

titanic. i hated titanic.

i didn't like ghost world all that much either.

and as you may remember, i have a horrible soft spot for dirty dancing. therefore i can't say a peep about shitageddon.

I love Pollyanna. It's so cloyingly sweet, yet I just love it. I've watched it more times than I can count.

Dear Folk!
How you have met Christmas?
You have brought a smile to my face all year long. ... I never would have met such a fun, interesting group of people.
